CRMP2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The CRMP2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a Cell-Based ELISA designed for the qualitative determination of CRMP2 protein expression in cultured cells. Using a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow run on a 96-well microplate format, the assay captures CRMP2 via target-specific primary antibodies and uses HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies to catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm.

Reactivity is demonstrated against human, mouse, and rat samples, with the kit validated for use on adherent cells. It can be applied to measure relative CRMP2 levels and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density and correct for plating differences. The dynamic range is > 5000 Cells, and reagents are stored at 4°C for up to 6 months.

CRMP2, also known as collapsin response mediator protein 2 (gene symbol DPYSL2), is a microtubule-binding protein involved in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse, and cell migration. Dysregulation of CRMP2 has been implicated in neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, and epilepsy, making the kit a relevant tool for neuroscience and developmental biology research.
