CrkII Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides qualitative measurement of CrkII protein expression in cultured cells. It uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm in an indirect ELISA format, in which CrkII is captured by CrkII-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colour-producing reaction on substrate addition. The protocol is lysate-free and runs in a 96-well microplate format, making it suitable for high-throughput work.

Reactivity covers human, mouse and rat samples, and the assay supports a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, while Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is provided for determining cell density so that plating differences can be adjusted. The kit is intended for adherent cells and can be used to measure relative CrkII levels as well as to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators.
