CREB-BP Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit designed for the accurate detection of CREB-BP levels in cell samples. This lysate-free, high-throughput assay enables researchers to measure relative amounts of CREB-BP in cultured cells, with utility for evaluating the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on CREB-BP expression. The kit shows reactivity with Human and Mouse samples and operates with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is intended for use with Adherent Cells.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which CREB-BP is captured by CREB-BP-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody, catalysing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Detection is read at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density. The kit is provided in a microplate format and is intended for storage at 4°C with a stability of 6 Months.
