The Assay Genie COVID-19 Human IgM PharmaGenie ELISA Kit detects human IgM class antibodies directed against the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein S1 Receptor Binding Domain (RBD), supporting serological studies of recent or acute-phase immune responses. The indirect ELISA workflow uses an anti-human IgM secondary antibody on a pre-coated microplate, with colorimetric readout following substrate addition.

Each kit supplies reagents for 96 determinations, sufficient for screening moderate-sized cohorts of serum donors. A 100 µL sample volume is prepared by diluting serum in the provided buffer and loaded into the wells, alongside positive and negative controls that validate each plate run.

Research applications include seroprevalence surveys, evaluation of vaccine-induced humoral responses, longitudinal monitoring of IgM seroconversion in exposed individuals, and immunological studies that distinguish early IgM responses from longer-lasting IgG responses.
