Cofilin (Phospho-Ser3)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A fluorometric, cell-based phospho ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed to monitor phosphorylation of Cofilin at Ser3 in cultured cells. The qualitative assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which phospho-Cofilin (Ser3) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected using Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies for fluorometric readout. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a separate antibody against the non-phosphorylated form of Cofilin is supplied for RFU normalization.

The kit is described as lysate-free and suitable for high-throughput screening of the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) and activators on CFL1 phosphorylation. It is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Plates are read at Ex/Em 651/667 (Dye 1) and 495/521 (Dye 2).
