Claudin 6 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Designed for the detection of Claudin 6 in cell samples, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses an indirect ELISA format. HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the Claudin 6-specific primary antibody, and the conjugated HRP enzyme catalyses a colour-producing reaction measured at 450 nm. The assay is lysate-free and intended for adherent cells, supporting high-throughput work and the relative measurement of Claudin 6 in cultured cells. It can also be used to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Claudin 6.

A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method may be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.
