Chicken Superoxide dismutase [Cu-Zn] (SOD1) ELISA Kit

The Chicken Superoxide dismutase [Cu-Zn] (SOD1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantitatively measures SOD1, a key cytosolic antioxidant enzyme that scavenges superoxide radicals and protects cells from oxidative damage. Built on a sandwich ELISA principle, the assay uses pre-coated microplate wells and produces a colorimetric signal readable at 450 nm, with a standard curve typically spanning 0.156–10 ng/mL. The kit is supplied with a 96-well plate, capture and detection antibodies, recombinant standard, diluents, wash buffer, and TMB substrate, providing enough reagents for one full 96-well plate run. Validated for chicken serum and plasma samples, it supports studies of avian oxidative stress, inflammation, metabolic disorders, and toxicology research.
