Chicken Ras-related protein Rab-10 (RAB10) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie quantitatively measures Chicken RAB10 in serum and plasma samples using a colorimetric detection method read on a standard microplate reader. RAB10 is a small GTPase of the Ras superfamily that regulates intracellular vesicle trafficking, GLUT4 glucose transporter translocation, autophagosome biogenesis, and primary ciliogenesis; it is also characterized as a downstream phosphorylation substrate of LRRK2 kinase, making it relevant to neurodegenerative disease models. The 96-well plate format supports quantitative analysis for comparative avian biology, poultry immunology, and metabolic pathway research. Standards and samples should be aliquoted and stored refrigerated at 2-8 °C; protect reagents from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted standards. The Assay Genie kit ships with a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, colorimetric TMB substrate, and stop reagent. Each run completes in approximately 3.5–4.5 hours at room temperature and produces a quantitative standard curve from which sample RAB10 concentrations are interpolated in pg/ml. Required sample volume is 100 µl per well, and reported intra-assay and inter-assay CVs are typically below 10% and 12%, respectively. Reconstituted standards remain stable for up to 7 days when refrigerated at 2-8 °C; longer storage requires freezing at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Pair this ELISA with western blot or PCR validation of RAB10 transcript and protein expression in chicken tissues to cross-confirm results across the transcription and translation levels. The plate is calibrated against recombinant chicken RAB10 standards, supporting direct comparison of serum and plasma concentrations across independent avian cohorts and metabolic studies.
