Chicken Interleukin 10 (IL-10) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Chicken Interleukin 10 (IL-10) ELISA Kit employs a quantitative two-site immunoassay format using matched antibody pairs, a biotinylated reporter antibody, and a streptavidin-HRP conjugate to deliver reproducible quantification of this anti-inflammatory cytokine across multiple avian sample matrices.

Quantitative performance is characterized by a standard curve spanning a detection range of 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of less than 5 pg/mL, and a recommended 100 µL sample volume per well. The reference standard is recombinant chicken IL-10, with absorbance read at 450 nm following the enzymatic color development reaction.

Validated applications include cytokine profiling in poultry infectious disease models such as Marek's disease, avian influenza, Newcastle disease, and coccidiosis, as well as vaccine efficacy studies, gut mucosal immunity research, and inflammatory response characterization in chicken peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Reconstituted components should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C with limited freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. The unopened kit ships as a complete microplate-based package containing all required buffers, conjugate, and TMB substrate for 96 determinations, for research use only.
