Chicken IL-17 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of IL-17 in chicken samples. The assay uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is designed for research into inflammatory responses and immune regulation in poultry.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been established at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 85-100% (average 92%) for serum, 92-104% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 91-104% (average 98%) for heparin plasma.

IL-17 is a cytokine also known as Interleukin 17, CTLA-8, and IL17A. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves reagent equilibration, sample and standard loading with a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
