Chicken IL-13 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of chicken IL-13, a cytokine described by the manufacturer as playing a role in regulating immune responses and inflammation. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration with colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and a pre-coated plate, incubating standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labelled detection antibody with a further 37°C incubation for 60 minutes, binding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing colour with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit components are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate protected from direct light.
