Chicken IGFBP4 ELISA Kit

A specialised sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 4 (IGFBP4) levels in chicken serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody format with biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months. IGFBP4 is a key regulatory protein that binds to insulin-like growth factors and modulates their biological effects on cellular growth and differentiation, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.

Reported performance: sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity for serum (n=5) spans 98-104% at 1:2, 85-103% at 1:4, and 86-103% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) spans 84-100%, 83-94%, and 85-96%; heparin plasma (n=5) spans 80-95%, 81-99%, and 88-95%. Recovery ranges from 93-100% (average 94%) for serum, 92-100% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-99% (average 93%) for heparin plasma.
