Chicken IgA (Immunoglobulin A) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit is designed for the precise detection of chicken Immunoglobulin A (IgA) in research samples. It is intended for use in fields such as immunology, veterinary medicine, and infectious disease research, where IgA monitoring can provide insights into mucosal immunity and defence against pathogens.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series, with reported ranges of 86–105% in serum, 82–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–100% in heparin plasma, alongside average recovery values of 92% (serum), 97% (EDTA plasma) and 91% (heparin plasma).

Colorimetric readout is achieved using a TMB substrate following a sequential protocol with biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), with absorbance measured at 450 nm after the addition of stop solution.
