Chicken IFN gamma ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of chicken interferon-gamma, a cytokine involved in avian immune regulation including macrophage activation and antigen presentation. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validation studies report recovery rates of 89-101% (average 96%) for serum (n=5), 88-97% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 88-105% (average 95%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was: serum 86-100%, 85-101%, 87-105%; EDTA plasma 86-101%, 86-98%, 85-97%; heparin plasma 86-97%, 81-98%, 81-92%.
