Chicken IFN-beta/Interferon Beta ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of interferon beta in chicken samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format to deliver reproducible results with high sensitivity and specificity. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting research into avian immunity, inflammatory responses, and viral infections such as avian influenza, as well as vaccine and treatment development.

Colorimetric detection is performed on a pre-coated microplate using a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL, with a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated in serum (87-98% / 87-98% / 81-92% at 1:2 / 1:4 / 1:8), EDTA plasma (91-104% / 87-99% / 80-92%) and heparin plasma (96-103% / 82-96% / 84-88%). Mean recovery is 92% in serum, 99% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma.

Components supplied include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C and remains stable for 12 months under those conditions.
