Chicken IFN alpha DIY ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's DIY format supplies the core immunoreagents rather than a pre-validated plate: each kit provides 100 ug of anti-chicken IFN alpha polyclonal capture antibody, 50 ug of biotinylated anti-chicken IFN alpha polyclonal detection antibody, and 5 ug of chicken IFN alpha recombinant protein standard, sufficient for coating up to 10 microplates. Researchers prepare the capture antibody working solution in DPBS, dispense 100 uL per well, and incubate at 20-25 degrees C for 12-24 hours before blocking with 4% BSA in DPBS. Plates are washed four times between each binding step using 0.05% Tween-20 in DPBS, after which the biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, and TMB substrate are added sequentially; color development proceeds in the dark for 30 minutes and is stopped with dilute sulfuric acid prior to plate reader measurement. Compatible sample matrices include chicken serum, blood plasma specimens, cell culture supernatant, and tissue homogenates, supporting applications such as monitoring type I interferon responses during avian influenza, Newcastle disease, and infectious bronchitis virus challenges, as well as evaluating adjuvant performance in poultry vaccine trials.
