Chicken Homeobox protein engrailed-2 (EN2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Chicken EN2 Sandwich ELISA Kit is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm, providing quantitative detection of homeobox protein engrailed-2 in chicken serum and plasma samples. Engrailed-2 is a developmental transcription factor implicated in cerebellar and midbrain patterning during avian neural tube formation, and altered expression has been linked to neurodevelopmental disorder models, making it a relevant biomarker for neuroscience, embryology, and developmental biology research.

Each kit includes a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant EN2 standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, concentrated wash buffer, TMB chromogenic substrate, and stop reagent, sufficient for 96 determinations. The assay is calibrated against recombinant chicken EN2, with intra-assay and inter-assay precision values documented in the lot-specific certificate of analysis. A recommended sample volume of 50 μL per well yields a total incubation time of approximately 3.5 hours at room temperature.
