Chicken Heat Shock Protein Beta 2 (HSPb2) ELISA Kit

HSPB2 (Heat Shock Protein Beta-2), also called MKBP, is a small heat shock protein predominantly expressed in cardiac and skeletal muscle, where it functions as a molecular chaperone during thermal, oxidative, and mechanical stress. Investigators in muscle physiology, myotonic dystrophy, and cardiac protection research rely on quantitative HSPB2 readouts to characterize the muscle stress response in avian model systems.

The Assay Genie Chicken HSPB2 kit is supplied with a precoated microplate, detection antibody, standards, and substrate solution. As a Chicken-specific ELISA, it shows no significant cross-reactivity with mammalian HSPB2 orthologs, supporting clean quantification in avian tissue homogenates. Each run uses 50 uL of sample per well, and unopened kit components should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, with working aliquots stable through several freeze-thaw cycles.
