Chicken GTPase HRas (HRAS1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of chicken GTPase HRas (HRAS1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and additional biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, and the kit is reactive with chicken samples, recognising both natural and recombinant forms of the target.

HRAS/HRAS1 is a GTPase that binds GDP/GTP and possesses intrinsic GTPase activity, with roles in cell signalling, regulation of cell growth and differentiation. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders, placing it within the cancer research area. The kit reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml. The target corresponds to UniProt entry P08642 (molecular weight 21,365 Da) and shuttles between the plasma membrane and the Golgi apparatus.
