Chicken CNTF/Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie provides colorimetric measurement of Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor (CNTF) in chicken samples. The double antibody format is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and detects chicken CNTF (UniProt Q02011). CNTF is a cytokine linked to neuronal survival, differentiation, regeneration, and neuroprotection.

Quoted performance values include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL. Recovery and linearity data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, and storage is 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The kit supports research on neurological disorders and neurodegenerative disease.
