Chicken Annexin A5/ANXA5 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of Annexin A5 (ANXA5) in chicken samples. The kit is reactive specifically with chicken and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with detection carried out by a colorimetric method.

Annexin A5 is a key protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis, inflammation, and blood coagulation, and plays a critical role in maintaining cell membrane integrity and function, making it a valuable biomarker for studying physiological and pathological processes in chickens. The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL, with kits stable at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow follows a standard sandwich ELISA protocol: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, load standards, samples and controls for a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, add a biotin-labeled detection antibody and incubate for 60 minutes at 37°C, then add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. Colour development with TMB substrate is performed in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance is read at 450 nm immediately after adding stop solution. Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma spans dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8, with recovery ranges of 87-105% (average 93%) for serum, 87-99% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 92-104% (average 99%) for heparin plasma.
