Chicken Adiponectin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody, colorimetric detection method to quantify adiponectin in chicken-derived samples. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, with a reported sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL.

The protocol runs on a pre-coated microplate. After reagent equilibration, standards, samples and controls are incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes to allow antigen binding, followed by a biotin-labelled detection antibody (60 minutes at 37°C), HRP-Streptavidin binding (30 minutes at 37°C) and TMB substrate developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Absorbance is read at 450 nm after stop solution is added. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Sample preparation guidance is included for serum (clot, 1000 × g, 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tubes, 1000 × g, 15 minutes, 2–8°C), tissue homogenate (PBS with protease inhibitors), cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm, 5 minutes) and cell lysate (lysis buffer with protease inhibitors).

Reported linearity ranges from 83% to 105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, and recovery averages are 93% (serum), 91% (EDTA plasma) and 95% (heparin plasma).
