Chicken Adiponectin (ADP) ELISA Kit

This assay from Assay Genie is intended for research use only and quantitatively measures adiponectin (ADP), a 30 kDa adipokine secreted by adipose tissue that regulates glucose metabolism, fatty acid oxidation, and insulin sensitivity in poultry. The chicken-specific capture antibody shows no significant cross-reactivity with related avian adipokines, supporting its use in species-specific metabolic, reproductive, and growth studies. The kit accommodates a 50 uL sample volume per well and is supplied as a complete microplate kit with pre-coated wells, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, and substrate solution. Unopened components should be refrigerated at 4 degrees C; for long-term storage, freeze the standard at -20 degrees C and limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve reactivity.
