Cetuximab (Erbitux®) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of free cetuximab (Erbitux®) in serum and plasma, for research use only. Standards and samples are incubated in a microtiter plate coated with reactant for cetuximab; after washing, a horse radish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated probe binds to the captured cetuximab, and the colour developed is proportional to the amount of cetuximab in the sample or standard.

The stated specifications are a required sample volume of “10 µl”, a total assay time of “70 min”, a detection limit of “100 ng/mL”, spike recovery of “85-115%” and a shelf life of “1 year”. Standards and samples are diluted at “1:100” using assay buffer. Optical density is measured at “450/650 nm” within “30 min” after the stop solution is added.

Kit components include the coated microtiter plate, cetuximab standards with high and low level controls, assay buffer, HRP conjugate, TMB substrate solution, stop solution, wash buffer and adhesive foil.
