CERKL Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This Assay Genie cell-based ELISA kit provides colorimetric detection of CERKL protein expression in cultured human cells using an indirect, high-throughput workflow that does not require lysate preparation. CERKL is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, with the resulting enzymatic reaction read at 450 nm.

The microplate format is suited to adherent cell samples and supports a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalization, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to correct for plating differences. Reagents are stable for 6 months when stored at 4°C, and the kit can be applied to screen the effects of inhibitors, siRNA, or other treatments on CERKL expression in cell signaling and apoptosis research.
