Rather than quantifying total C/EBPβ protein, this Assay Genie DNA-binding immunoassay detects only the transcriptionally competent fraction of CCAAT/Enhancer-Binding Protein Beta that retains sequence-specific DNA binding, enabling researchers to follow pathway activation after cytokine stimulation, LPS challenge, or adipogenic differentiation. C/EBPβ is a basic leucine-zipper factor involved in inflammatory signaling, hepatic gluconeogenesis, acute-phase gene expression, and oncogenic programs in breast and colorectal tissue, so the kit is widely applied in immunology, metabolism, and cancer research. Nuclear and cell lysates from human, mouse, and rat sources are accommodated.
