CEBPB Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Designed for detecting and quantifying CEBPB (CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein beta) protein levels in cell cultures, this cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses an indirect ELISA format in which the target is captured by specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The qualitative, lysate-free workflow is suited to high-throughput measurement of relative CEBPB expression and to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors or activators.

The assay is compatible with adherent cells and shows reactivity with human and mouse samples. Detection is performed colorimetrically at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted to cell amounts. Storage is at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 months.

Supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format, the kit is intended for research use in areas including developmental biology.
