CDKL4 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's Cell-Based ELISA kit offers a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput method for measuring CDKL4 protein expression in cultured human cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which CDKL4-specific primary antibodies capture the target, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction read at 450 nm. It supports studies of relative CDKL4 levels and screening of treatments, inhibitors, or activators in adherent cell samples, with a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells.

CDKL4 is a member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family (CDC2/CDKX subfamily) involved in cell cycle regulation and cell proliferation. Dysregulation of CDKL4 has been linked to cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders, and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these areas. The kit is suited for cell lysates and culture supernatants and enables qualitative determination of CDKL4 concentration.

Normalization of absorbance values is supported by an included anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serving as an internal positive control, with an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The kit is stored at 4°C with a stability of 6 months.
