CDK5 (Phospho-Tyr15)Fluorometric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This fluorometric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is a convenient, lysate-free, high-throughput and sensitive assay designed to monitor CDK5 phosphorylation and expression profile in cultured cells. It allows qualitative measurement of relative amounts of phosphorylated CDK5 (Phospho-Tyr15), and can be used to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on CDK5 phosphorylation.

Detection follows an indirect ELISA format: primary antibodies specific for CDK5 (Phospho-Tyr15) capture the target, while Dye 1- and Dye 2-conjugated secondary antibodies provide a fluorometric readout. The kit is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Recommended storage is 4°C with 6 months stability. A fluorescent plate reader with two channels at Ex/Em: 651/667 and 495/521 is required for readout but is not included.

Two normalization methods are supplied: a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH serves as an internal positive control, and an antibody against the non-phosphorylated counterpart of CDK5 is included for normalizing the RFU value of phosphorylated CDK5. The target is Phospho-CDK5 (Tyr15).
