CDK1/CDC2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the measurement of CDK1/CDC2 protein levels in cell lysates, offering a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow suited to adherent cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which CDK1/CDC2 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction at 450 nm upon substrate addition.

The kit has been validated for use with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and supports a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. It is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format and should be stored at 4 °C, where it remains stable for 6 Months. Because the Cell-Based ELISA provides qualitative readouts, normalization is built in through two methods: a monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted for plating differences.
