CDC25A Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Sensitive, high-throughput detection of CDC25A in adherent cell samples is provided by the Assay Genie Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit, a lysate-free, indirect ELISA suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates. The kit uses CDC25A-specific primary antibodies paired with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction at 450 nm, delivering high sensitivity and specificity for a variety of cell cycle research applications.

Reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, the kit has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalise target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining can be used to determine cell density. Storage stability is 4°C for 6 Months.

CDC25A is a member of the MPI phosphatase family and a key regulator of cell cycle progression, required for the G1 to S phase transition. It activates the cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2 by removing two phosphate groups and is specifically degraded in response to DNA damage, with dysregulation implicated in various diseases including cancer. The kit can be used to measure relative amounts of CDC25A in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on CDC25A.
