CD88/C5aR Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit enables the accurate detection of CD88/C5aR protein expression in cultured cells using a colorimetric method read at 450 nm. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, where CD88/C5aR is captured by specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. The kit is lysate-free, high-throughput, and designed for qualitative determination of CD88/C5aR concentration.

It can be used to measure relative levels of CD88/C5aR in adherent cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, while a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step allows absorbance values to be normalized to cell density, adjusting for plating differences.

The kit shows reactivity with human samples, has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells, and is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format. Storage is at 4°C with 6 Months stability.
