Description

From Assay Genie, this cell-based ELISA kit enables colorimetric detection of CD32 (Fc gamma receptor II) protein levels in cell samples. The assay is designed for use with adherent cells and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research in immunology, cell biology, and drug development.

CD32, also known by the gene symbol FCGR2B, is a cell surface receptor involved in immune response and inflammation, with expression levels linked to autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases. The kit uses a lysate-free, indirect ELISA format in which CD32 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. It is a qualitative, high-throughput assay with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells, and can be used to measure relative CD32 levels in cultured cells or to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators.

For normalization, the kit includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, and an optional Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density. The assay is run on a microplate format and is stored at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 months. Associated database identifiers for the target include Gene ID 2213, UniProt P31994, OMIM 604590, and Unigene Hs.654395.
