CBP Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This In-Cell ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of CBP (CREB-binding protein) expression in adherent cultured cells. Using a colorimetric cell-based ELISA method with absorbance measurement at 450 nm, the kit provides a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow suitable for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on CBP levels.

The assay employs an indirect ELISA format in which CBP is captured by CBP-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody. Substrate addition triggers an HRP-catalyzed colorimetric reaction. To support data normalization, the kit includes a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, and provides Crystal Violet whole-cell staining to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement.
