CBL (Phospho-Tyr674)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed to detect and quantify levels of phosphorylated CBL (casitas B-lineage lymphoma) protein in cell lysates. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which phosphorylated CBL is captured by phospho-specific primary antibodies, and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of those primaries to catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Because the assay is qualitative, two normalisation tools are included: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody acts as an internal positive control for normalising target readings, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density so absorbance values can be adjusted to cell number.

Phosphorylated CBL regulates cell signalling pathways involved in cell growth, division, and survival, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer and immune disorders, making this phospho-specific ELISA a useful tool in signal transduction research.
