Catenin-gamma Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The Catenin-gamma Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit operates on a lysate-free, high-throughput, and sensitive platform, making it well suited to measuring the relative amounts of catenin-gamma in cells as well as screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on the protein. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and offers a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells.

Qualitative determination of catenin-gamma concentration is achieved by an indirect ELISA format in which catenin-gamma is captured by catenin-gamma-specific primary antibodies and detected via HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included to serve as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density for further normalization. Catenin-gamma is a key protein involved in cell-cell adhesion and signaling pathways, with roles in cell migration, differentiation, and proliferation; its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer and developmental disorders.
