Casein Kinase II alpha (Phospho-Tyr255)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Cell-Based ELISA Kit designed for the qualitative detection of Casein Kinase II alpha phosphorylated at Tyrosine 255 in cultured cells. The kit uses an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies are paired with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Configured as a colorimetric cell-based assay read at 450 nm, the kit is validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples and supports a dynamic range above 5000 cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising the target absorbance values, while the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used after the colorimetric read to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences. The assay is lysate-free and high throughput, and is appropriate for measuring relative phosphorylation levels in cells and for screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors, or activators on Casein Kinase II alpha phosphorylation. The intended sample type is adherent cells.
