CARD6 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of CARD6 protein expression in cultured cells using a colorimetric method read at 450 nm. The assay is reactive with human samples, operates across a dynamic range exceeding 5000 cells, and is provided in a 96-well microplate format.

As a lysate-free, high-throughput assay, the kit enables measurement of relative CARD6 levels in adherent cells and can be used to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on CARD6 expression. The indirect ELISA format relies on CARD6-specific primary antibodies, with HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies binding the Fc region of the primary antibody to catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing the target absorbance values. A Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can also be used to assess cell density, allowing absorbance values to be normalized to cell counts and compensating for plating differences. The kit is intended for storage at 4°C with a stated stability of 6 months.
