Canine VEGF ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) in canine samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

VEGF is a key signaling protein involved in the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), playing critical roles in wound healing, organ development, and tumor growth. The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection format with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying angiogenic activity in canine tissues and its implications in canine health and disease.

Components should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate with incubation at 37°C, binding of biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, color development with TMB substrate in the dark, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
