Canine Thrombomodulin (TM) ELISA Kit

Thrombomodulin (TM, CD141) is an endothelial transmembrane glycoprotein that re-routes thrombin toward the protein C anticoagulant pathway. Soluble TM fragments shed into the bloodstream are widely accepted as a marker of vascular endothelial injury in dogs, rising in canine models of sepsis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, vasculitis, and certain inflammatory cardiac and renal conditions.

The Assay Genie canine TM kit is configured as a complete ELISA reagent set in microplate format, giving 96 individual determinations per plate. Detection is colorimetric, read on a standard plate reader, and the assay is validated for canine plasma samples. The kit is intended for research use only and lets veterinary and comparative-medicine laboratories quantify circulating thrombomodulin without developing and validating their own antibody pairs.
