Canine TGFB1/TGF-beta 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of canine TGFB1 (TGF-beta 1), also known as Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1, in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection. Stated sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL, and storage is recommended at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity has been validated in serum (n = 5) at 93-101%, 92-105%, and 88-102% across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively, in EDTA plasma (n = 5) at 83-99%, 84-95%, and 82-101%, and in heparin plasma (n = 5) at 84-94%, 83-99%, and 83-98%. Reported recovery averages are 96% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma, with recovery ranges of 88-103%, 86-105%, and 90-104% respectively.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, setting standards and samples on the pre-coated plate, incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen capture, adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 60-minute incubation, then HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop solution with absorbance read at 450 nm.
