Canine OSM DIY ELISA Kit

Oncostatin M (OSM) is a pleiotropic gp130-family cytokine secreted by activated T cells, monocytes, and neutrophils. In canine biomedical research it is increasingly measured in studies of osteoarthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, cardiac fibrosis, and tumor-stroma crosstalk. The DIY Kit from Assay Genie is supplied as bulk reagents so the user coats their own microplate wells, giving laboratories freedom to choose plate density, run partial plates, or scale throughput across the supplied reagent volume of up to ten plates.

The assay is validated for multiple canine sample matrices including serum, citrated plasma, EDTA plasma, and conditioned cell culture medium. A full standard curve is run on every plate to allow quantitative interpolation against the recombinant canine OSM reference standard supplied with the kit.

For laboratories running comparative cytokine panels, the DIY format lets users pair OSM measurement with other canine ELISAs in the same workflow without committing to a fixed strip layout. Components should be stored refrigerated at 4°C, with the lyophilised standard handled according to the included certificate of analysis, and the kit is intended for research use only and not for diagnostic procedures.
