Description

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of IgG levels in canine samples. It is intended for measuring IgG in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting research into canine immune status, infectious disease, and therapeutic interventions.

The kit uses a sandwich ELISA, double antibody detection method with a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution.

Reported linearity for serum (n=5) is 92-105% at 1:2, 91-105% at 1:4, and 91-104% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 85-96%, 90-99%, and 82-93%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 80-100%, 82-100%, and 82-97%. Recovery ranges are 85-101% (average 94%) for serum, 88-103% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 92-101% (average 97%) for heparin plasma.
