Canine IgA (Immunoglobulin A) ELISA Kit (CNFI00068)

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of IgA in canine serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout and is positioned for research into mucosal immunity, infection, and immune-related conditions in dogs.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 87–105% for serum, 84–97% for EDTA plasma and 82–99% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery performance is 85–105% (average 98%) in serum, 92–105% (average 100%) in EDTA plasma and 85–104% (average 94%) in heparin plasma. The procedure uses a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
