A solid-phase immunoassay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of C-C motif chemokine 17 (CCL17), also called TARC (Thymus and Activation-Regulated Chemokine), in canine research samples. CCL17 binds the CCR4 receptor and guides trafficking of CCR4-positive lymphocytes, particularly Th2-skewed CD4+ T cells, so it is widely studied as a biomarker for Th2-driven inflammation in dogs. The kit is supplied in a 96 Assays configuration and is intended for research use only, supporting veterinary immunology, inflammation, and dermatology workflows. Researchers working on canine models of atopic dermatitis, allergic skin disease, and parasite-associated inflammation can use this assay to quantify CCL17 levels across cohorts, monitor disease-associated changes, or evaluate anti-inflammatory interventions. The procedure follows a standard ELISA workflow compatible with common microplate readers, and each kit ships with the components needed to run the assay. Because CCL17 is conserved as an immunological readout across species, results obtained in dogs can also be framed within comparative immunology studies, helping researchers benchmark canine Th2 responses against other models.
