Canine Adiponectin (ADP) ELISA Kit

A research-grade quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enabling measurement of adiponectin concentrations in canine specimens. Adiponectin is a circulating adipokine hormone of approximately 30 kDa secreted by white adipose tissue that regulates insulin sensitivity, lipid oxidation, and energy homeostasis in dogs, and altered serum levels are commonly investigated in veterinary studies of obesity, metabolic syndrome, Type II diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular risk. The kit supplies the reagents, standards, and wash buffer required to run the adiponectin assay using a colorimetric protocol read on a standard microplate reader. Each kit provides 96 assays configured in a single-use break-apart well plate layout suitable for small-to-medium throughput studies.
