CaMK2-beta/gamma/delta (Phospho-Thr287)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie CaMK2-beta/gamma/delta (Phospho-Thr287) Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a cell-based ELISA designed to detect phosphorylation of the CaMK2-beta/gamma/delta target at threonine 287 in cultured cells. It is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples and is intended for use with adherent cells.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which CaMK2-beta/gamma/delta (Phospho-Thr287) is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction measured at 450 nm. A dynamic range of > 5000 Cells is specified. The kit is supplied in a 96-well microplate format and includes normalization tools: an anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody to serve as an internal positive control, and Crystal Violet solution for whole-cell staining to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

Researchers can use the kit to measure relative levels of phosphorylated CaMK2-beta/gamma/delta and to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on CaMK2 phosphorylation.
