Camel IL-10 ELISA Kit (CLFI0003)

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie, this kit is configured as a Sandwich ELISA with double antibody specificity and a colorimetric detection method. It is intended for the measurement of IL-10 in camel-derived samples, with reactivity confirmed for camel species.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysis buffer, tissue lysis buffer, and other biological fluid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum at 80–99%, 85–92%, and 84–94% respectively; EDTA plasma at 80–92%, 80–92%, and 83–97%; and heparin plasma at 81–105%, 80–96%, and 86–96%. Spike-recovery averages are reported as 84% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 90% for heparin plasma.

The protocol proceeds through plate and reagent equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. IL-10, also known as interleukin-10, is described as a key cytokine involved in regulating immune responses and inflammation, with dysregulation linked to various autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.
