CALR Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's CALR Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a high-throughput, sensitive assay for the qualitative detection of CALR (Calreticulin) protein expression in cultured cells. The kit employs an indirect ELISA format in which CALR-specific primary antibodies capture the target protein, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density for further data normalization.

The kit is suitable for adherent cell samples and is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat species. Detection is colorimetric, measured at 450 nm, and the kit is provided in a 96-well microplate format with a dynamic range of greater than 5000 cells. Reagents are stored at 4 °C and remain stable for 6 months.
