Calcium Sensing Receptor Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the measurement of calcium sensing receptor activity in cell culture samples. It is a lysate-free, high-throughput assay that detects calcium sensing receptor protein expression in cultured cells and can be used to screen the effects of various treatments, inhibitors, or activators on the receptor.

Reactivity is reported for human, mouse, and rat samples, with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells. Detection is colorimetric at 450 nm using an indirect ELISA format, in which target-specific primary antibodies are bound by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining may be used to determine cell density.

The kit is intended for use with adherent cells. Storage and stability are stated as 4°C for 6 months.
